All you do is put a older rom in the dload folder of the sd card and force the update on startup.
Make sure it's a update.app file.

In my case I had a backup rom B027 downloaded from Huawei website, plus I had the Nougat 7.0 zip files from here. What I did was take the update.app out of the B027 zip file and replace the Nougat 7.0 update.app with mine without breaking it being signed. Then I tried to "install from zip" which failed, so I rebooted holding the volume+ and the power button and got to download and recovery, but it was in all chinese, and decided to try downloading the rom by WLan, and this time it worked it downloaded and installed the 6.0 EMUI 4.1 rom stock, and now the phone downloaded the Nougat 7.0 EMUI 5.0 onto the phone but I havent updated it yet, because I am trying to find where the download was saved so I could pull it off the phone for further testing to restore.
I tried that for three days in all different ways, could not get it to work, screenshots above support my statement. All you do is put a older rom in the dload folder of the sd card and force the update on startup.

Bootloader still unlocked currently, and no root as of now, going to do some experiments. If anyone wishes to try I can upload my Zipped rom to try, nothing special about the package, but I think the main difference that it worked downloading the rom by Wlan this time is because of the chinese recovery being installed, and I think its due to the meta-info and the file "full_mainpkg.tag". thats the only thing different

Okay I found the location that the Nougat 7.0 update was downloaded to. Try putting your updates on the phone itself. in the root location of the phone create a New folder called: HwOUC Then create a folder called 76749 (think this is the code from Huawei for Nougat 7.0 or its just a random number) then put the update.zip and the update_data_full_all_cn.zip into this folder and then go to settings/updater and see if the phone picks up the update, if not then I would try holding the vol+ and the power button and seee if the EMUI recovery will automatically pick it up and install.
Currently my phone is updating to Nougat 7.0 EMUI 5.0 with the bootloader unlocked.
My bootloader is currently unlocked and with stock. What I did was I left the bootloader unlocked, in Twrp I attempted to install the stock rom I made up as I said, it failed, but it somehow put the right files in place to WLan download the correct stock rom to install in recovery.A little confused... So if on custom twrp unlock bootloader rooted emui 5 beta, what is your suggestion to revert to stock 4.1 emui with all locked, later not problems to unlock?
Thanks

Good to hear that your phone is working againMy bootloader is currently unlocked and with stock. What I did was I left the bootloader unlocked, in Twrp I attempted to install the stock rom I made up as I said, it failed, but it somehow put the right files in place to WLan download the correct stock rom to install in recovery.
So in short: Custom Rom to Stock:
1) Leave bootloader unlocked
2) Go into Twrp
3) Install, Choose update.b27.zip
4) Install will fail.
5) Hold Vol+ and power button to get into WLan recovery
6) Connect to WLan
7) Rom should download and install
8) UInlocked bootloader and stock in place, No Root. (If rooted wanted, try Kingroot, did not try myself yet)

The flash rom seems to format and install specific files which make the WLan recovery work properly, or its because the WLan recovery is the chinese version and connects/validates the package check.Just to ask / why is that unsuccessful flash from twrp needed?

Use the 5.0 Twrp that posted in his main post, that one is what I used to put Nougat 7.0 on, and thats what I used to attempt flashing the rom I posted. The bootloader if is unlocked can stay unlocked, it has no effect on putting the phone back to stock.Unexpected. So same twrp as now on emui 5 beta? This means bootloader stays nougat or? And with this new twrp can install dome emui 4.1 stuff? Actually, on Samsung world you also can use newest twrp with even older roms, same thing..
