Just a little question there, as the procedure for rooting is quite long and ... you know a bit tricky, i made some research and found people talking about this (https://forum.xda-developers.com/p9/development/twrp-t3565703) a version of twrp for P9 that works for HN8 as they have the same chip (kirin 955) and manage to decrypt the encrypted data etc and with this one it seems you just have to flash supersu for emui5. So i'm here cause i tested it and it worked for me as long as for those who posted it and i was wondering if others would test it and maybe update the initial tutorial with this procedure.

Root isnt hard at all, Mine is on b322 and rooted. The way I did mine is from complete stock I flashed twrp from fastboot (using the one in the OP) then rebooted into recovery (twrp) and then flashed the SU.zip in the OP by chainfire, then all you have to do is reboot, and in settings/apps make sure to make the Su a trusted app. Thats all I did and I have root.

Unpack the B332 Update.zip with win zip/winrar etc.
Search in the extracted Folder UPDATE.APP
Extract with the Huawei Extractor the Recovery.img from the UPDATE.APP and copy the Recovery.img in your ADB/Fastboot Folder.
Reboot into Bootloader and use the Command via Fastboot:
fastboot flash recovery RECOVERY.img
fastboot reboot
After rebooting the Phone, plug in to your Pc and open the Hisuite and go to Update
He says you have the lastest version B332 on your Phone.
Use the Option in Hi Suite Switch to other Version and from B332 to B029. 1,74GB the rest goes automatically.
Wait to reboot the Phone and ready to use.

Download the B017

Unpack via win zip and copy System,Recovery,Boot and Cust in your ADB Folder.
Flash the 4 img Files via Fastboot.
Make a Factory Reset.
You are on B017 Stockrom with Locked Bootloader, not Relocked!

Car bluetooth not working with Toyota prius 2005

Hi guys,

Has anyone experienced any problems with car bluetooth phone? When i was using B029 it was working fine. After upgrade to B332, car bluetooth phone does not connect to my Honor Note 8. I reset my phone to factory settings, and tried different methods available online but it never worked.

I had to downgrade again to B029 and it started working again.

Any suggestions? or shall i stay on B029.

Many thanks in advance.
