So I followed this tutorial and everything worked as shown. My phone completed the process properly and rebooted just fine. However, when I go into the settings menu, about phone, it says I am on Android 5.0??? This does not seem correct to me??? Am I missing something?

i had a retail sm-n900v (vzw note 3 on OF1)
i now have it changed to dev edition with twrp installed and made a full twrp backup to sd card.
what is the best way to put jasmine 6.1 on without messing up any of my now functioning firmware?
is there a zip of this rom with only system/data/cache?

1 more thing. dont want xposed really and dont want that virtual rom thing looking for my sd card.
sometimes i dont have my sd card in at all

I installed the jasmine 6.1 everything went fine until it was time to do the Odin thing. The phone just booted up and went into the new phone screen where you had to enter your information. The phone seems fine, everything works sofar. I have a question maybe someone has the answer. Can I still install the Odin file or will it mess me up. Or should I forget about it and use phone as is, which is fine.
Anybody have an answer

I used your video as a guide to install this ROM. But it went into the new phone screen as soon as it finished install. So I never had a chance to run 2nd part with Odin. The phone runs great, it's faster. I changed some settings, so it runs on T mobile LTE. Had to o uninstall LMT, it was interfering with my screen. Runs on my wifi normally. Pen works fine and so does camera.

Install Snapchat using this method

Go to es file explorer and navigate to
1. data/data/de.robv.android.xposed.installer/ after opening xposedinstaller folder you will see a files folder take that whole files folder and move it to extsdcard or to pc.
2. Navigate to system/bin/app_process.xposed move app_process.xposed to same place you moved the file folder to.
3. Navigate to system/framework/ and move XposedBridge.jar to the same place as other files .
Restart phone and install snapchat and it will successfully login.
Now you can move those files back to there original places. Then Restart phone again.

I installed this jasmine ROM last week, everything was fine until I tried to open an app using chrome. Is is what I got googladservices.com and it's stopping me, some say it's malware, I don't know, but it looks like it came with the ROM. Does anyone know how to get rid of this. I've uninstalled the ROM and reinstalled it back and it's still there. Need a fix for this. Thanks

Google ad services is what sends you personalized ads. Use Adaway and turn off all ad preferences in Google under your account. You'll still get ads, but not customized for your specific account. I also turn off Google location services.

I installed adaway but I'm getting a new thing when I try some serves. This is what I'm getting now clickserve.dartsearch.net. I try to find info on this and other one. But it always refers to pc fixes and not phone issues. If you can offer some help on this, It would be greatly appreciated.

Clickserve is where many links send you, it's another adserver... There's tons of adservers.

If you have enabled adaway (not just installed it), besides having it rebuild your hosts file, also run the local webserver.

NOTHING will completely remove ads. But once again, turn on all the don't track me, don't use ad preferences and don't track my location.

Go to accounts.google.com and follow the instructions for securing and making your account private.
