havent heard from xposed dev rovo89 for a while, hope we will get it though.

I kept all the credits anyways.
It's not easy for a regular user to tweak the aroma installer or pull the changes etc, so it's not going to go far anyway.
And sorry but there was no patent, also I would think it's quite racist to only let people who can read Chinese use his ROM.

I am installing on a G8141 and Aroma never launches in TWRP when I run the M-ROM Zip, it just freezes TWRP completely. This is after I have made changes to build.prop to make it suitable for the G8141, I have not tried without changing it, as I do not want to mess things up even more.

You need a different version of the recovery. I'll upload it. Check via the same link

flash in order according to their number.
4 is skipped for the kernel. if you've got 8141 then flash kernel on 4, if you've got 8142 then go from 3 to 5 (i've included 8142 kernel in the installer)

It all worked, I flashed TWRP 3.2 last night and Aroma kicked up and went through the installation but I have two problems, no keyboard and the biggest issue, no signal, will not register on the 4g/3g/2g network, so I am unable to use the phone. Keyboard has now been sorted, but still unable to get a signal, any help is appreciated.

I flashed all the zips you provided in the order that they were labelled.

And, I have just seen that Magisk is not installed, every time I open the app it requests installation and when I choose to install, it fails to patch the Boot Image and comes up failed, showing as not rooted using Root Checker.

What has gone wrong here?

Oh ****, I forgot to mention that debloater erases the stock keyboard ? I flash gapps anyway so I use Gboard, which I'll include as well.

Did you flash janjans 8141 kernel at step 4?
I have only realized it this morning I could have also included it in the installer. I'll fix it tonight, but, as I have 8142, someone else will have to check it, like yourself.
I hope the missing network signal is due to the 8142 kernel.

I flashed everything in sequence, including number 4.
But it is normal that even after following the sequence, I am still not rooted?

If you chose magisk then it should be working out of the box. If you chose SuperSU it should also. I'm not sure what's going on because I've tested the installer on my own device next to 20 times and it worked. You may try flashing magisk below 16.4 or SuperSU separately. Also, try flashing the Jan Jan's 270' 8141 kernel and don't forget to patch it before you boot.

I'll update the installer and the instructions tonight.

I will run through the sequence again in a few minutes and see what happens.

I flashed Magisk v17 in TWRP which I downloaded through MAGISK and I am rooted. For some strange reason, under settings it shows my phone as encrypted, I have never encrypted any of my phones and definitely not this one. Odd.

Seems then that it is not setup for G8141 then, reflashing does nothing for me. Still no signal.

Is there a way I can get this translation??
I might be rude to say NO, but I'm really too lazy to translate the resources, because anyway you'll only need to configure it ONCE, so I thought it's not that important, as I've figured it blindfold. So, there are three blocks.
First block.
The first option enables the data flow meter, the second tweaks the clock positioning.

The second block is call recording. I don't recommend those who reside in the U.S.A. to turn it on. First option turns the thing on, the second must be forcibly enabling the recording for every call. Third opens the recordings list.

The third block. First two options enable the Google Pixel and Android P animations, so I keep them turned ON. The third option tweaks the navibar size, and the fourth configures the extended display mode.

https://forum.xda-developers.com/xz-premium/development/o-m-rom-xposed-daydream-compatible-t3837055

I've included both KERNELS and the Keyboard into the installer, and corrected the order.
Come get some!
