How to install Xposed on ZVE

So, yesterday I rooted my LG G3 (ZVE version) and then installed TWRP and then flashed Xposed. Everything seemed fine but after rebooting, I got the dreaded "Security Error". Due to an excellent walkthrough here on XDA, I was able to fix it (at 2 in the morning.....grrrrr) and now I am back at having a rooted ZVE version but with no TWRP or Xposed.

So, can I just temporarily boot into TWRP (fastboot boot twrp.img) and then use that to flash Xposed? If so, which version of Xposed do I flash for this phone? Will that avoid the "Security Error" screen?

Basically, I just need help getting Xposed installed. I don't necessarily need (or really want) to permanently install TWRP (although if I have to I could)...just interested in getting Xposed installed.

Thanks!

I tried a pretty regular method of installing TWRP and then Xposed, but I had that security error which was a huge pain to have to fix....hopefully somebody chimes in. :D
