how to know if bootloader unlocked or not?

When you first power up the phone normally, a bright unmistakable white screen with red text stating "WARNING - BOOTLOADER UNLOCKED" appears.
Most likey unlocked then, power off and press and hold power+vol down. Eventually you will get a screen where it says bootloader menu. Check bottom lines for bootloader status.
