I want to lock my bootloader so I can use android pay, but when I run fastboot oem lock it still says unlocked. Plz tell me how to relock the bootloader. Thanks
You cannot lock or relocked bootloader from developer options, I think you are talking about allow oem unlocking which means you turn a setting on or off to allow the bootloader to be unlockedSpecifically on my HTC a9 I can lock or unlock my bootloader through developer menu. Looking to root with a custom rom. I'm new to the game and have never done it before.
If you are on Android nougat, you cannot relock bootloader, you have to downgrade firstI want to lock my bootloader so I can use android pay, but when I run fastboot oem lock it still says unlocked. Plz tell me how to relock the bootloader. Thanks

Which version of twrp do I install for nougat because when I installed twrp beta, it bootlooped. Can I get a link phhs suIf you are aiming for Android pay, locking the bootloader isn't the way to go. Just install magisk v10, not 11, with phhs superuser on stock or lineage. Then enable magisk hide from settings
It would be TWRP 3.0.3-beta 3 or something like that, also if you are already running a root, disable it, and flash magisk.zip, it will install superuser from there and you can install the phhs superuser manager form the play storeWhich version of twrp do I install for nougat because when I installed twrp beta, it bootlooped. Do you mean that locking the bootloader won't allow Android pay to work? Or are you saying it's easier to just root and use the magisk to hide it?If you are aiming for Android pay, locking the bootloader isn't the way to go.
