If you are stuck with this ****ty official 2.2 ROM and it seems slow like it is, follow these simple steps to make it seem faster but it will lose all charm of Android and it will feel like even ****tier iPhone.
1) Turn off ALL animations.
2) Disable Background data sync.
3) Install custom launcher app (I prefer Zeam because its lightweight and easy on battery, but main feature of it is that its fast).
4) Remove widgets from homescreens and try to use folders, not bunch of icons.
Thats it. Enjoy. I hope HTC will unlock bootloaders so we can get rid of this ****.
