But I would love the echo/reverb issue to get addressed. Isn't there a way to remove the left audio channel from the main speaker? Would prefer a a slightly unbalanced volume over the reverb effect we are dealing with right now.

mixer_paths.xml to make work in Oreo beta?
Now it doesn't boot if I copy/paste file to system/etc.

I read somewhere that Oreo has the mixers in a different path

"system/vendors/etc"

According to the thread, mixer_paths.xml & mixer_gains.xml, these are exynos files...
Exynos and Snapdragon are different from each other, you may request the snapdragon in my thread...

Open latest magisk module on PC with winrar, edit config, change all "/system/etc/..." to "/system/vendor/etc/...", save the zip as it is and install it with MAGISK...

I'd do it but busy now, sorry...

I dont see why it should not work with any 8.x based rom.
I personally use it with renovate ice.
