How to modify default settings configuration while building rom?

I'm recently started building custom roms for my device, but I always wonder why I have to setup everything again from scratch, instead I could modify default xml preferences for settings config...

If anyone know how to do that & what xml's to edit while building from source, I'm glad to hear & open for discussion.

I've learnt that default configuration can be found on framework/base. Just know the right xml parsers & modify the source as per your liking.
