Question How to move from miui 13 ID to miui 14 Xiaomi.EU rom

I'm completely new to all of this and afraid of missteps, I've been reading some tutorials and still can't understand it, all I know is the file I'm using is recovery and not fastboot

Can someone teach me please as I am really afraid of getting bricked

You should follow the steps under
"Installing with TWRP: (ROM Type: Recovery)"
from the MIUI.eu page

Honestly, it's not easy to explain it any better than that post, there's also a guide on how to install TWRP

Note: you must have the bootloader unlocked. If it's still locked, you will lose all your data unlocking it

man, i wished i found this thead earlier.. got my device hard-bricked because of incorrectly installing TWRP
