hey, so i have not a nexus 7 but a galaxy note 8.0, and after adding the files to keylayout and running the commands with no errors, it seems the controller cannot pair, it just blinks. is that normal?

it also doesnt respond in applications with controller support

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 Wifi Edition & Wireless Xbox 360 Controller

Hi guys, I bought an USB OTG adapter from Delock and connected my wireless Xbox 360 controller with my rooted Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Wifi Edition.

I think, I have tried everything I found in this and other threads, but couldn't manage to get the wireless controller work on my tablet. I am able to connect and use my wireless Logitech mouse and Logitech keyboard with my tablet. Is there anyone, who successfully connected the wireless Xbox 360 controller with the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Wifi Edition?

Best regards

Working great

Thanks! You rock.
Had the camera bug on my moto g, and it's now gone. Rooted my phone especially for this. I haven't had neither wired nor wireless layouts so I downloaded the one from the description made a copy with wireless Product ID, then gave it right permissions like you did in a video and it works. Agian, really appreciated!

OK I'm having a problem with this. My phone is an mb886 Atrix HD rooted and running PAC 4.4.4. I was able to get my phone to connect to my Xbox 360 wireless controller but I had the spinning problem in the games. So i went through and fallowed the video and it seemed to go flawlessly, but now the controller is unresponsive. I got through the process of syncing the dongle and the remote but after controllers lights stop spinning (and it stops almost immediately so that make me think is connected) it doesn't do jack. Nothing even highlights on the phones screen. Any help would be amazing, thanks.

Can't get an afterglow to work

I have tried everything and done everything listed here and cannot get it to work. I renamed the file to fit the vendor ids as Vendor_0E6F_Product_0213.kl (i also tried lowercase). Any help would be nice.

P.S. The controller works with usb/bt joy 2 touch but the controller itself has a blinking light in the middle and doesn't work with the UI and stuff with the DPAD which is necessary in any emulator.

Lag problem with the controller

Hi guys.

I have a LG G Pad, which has a quadcore processor and 2GB RAM.
Even though I followed the steps on this tutorial, I'm having some lag issues with my controller.
It is not spining or anything like that, It just lags sometimes...
Like, when I press a key down and release it, sometimes the games and emulators will act as if it's still being pressed for 2~3 seconds. That happens to every action on the controller.

Any idea why is this happening?

Okay guys… i think I did something I shouldn't do there…
I did that

su
cd /system/usr/keylayout/
mount -o remount,rw /system
cp Vendor_045e_Product_0291.kl Vendor_045e_Product_0719.kl (I had to remove the italic line)
chmod 644 Vendor_045e_Product_0291.kl
chmod 644 Vendor_045e_Product_0719.kcm (that didn't found the directory)
exit
exit

so I tried that:
su
cd /system/usr/keychars/
mount -o remount,rw /system
cp Vendor_045e_Product_0719.kl
chmod 644 Vendor_045e_Product_0719.kcm
exit
exit

So now it did his job… and maybe I got way too creative and I broke something… because after rebooting my hardware keys stopped working…
anybody knows what do I have to do to undo what I did? hehe

Thanks!!

I have a Lenovo S6000 Tablet,
would like to try it out on this 10.1 inch Tablet also have a MS Wired Controller.

My question is would a Y OTG Cable or a OTG Hub work with this?

That way I can connect my wired Xbox controller and also have the power cable connected as well.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/USB-OTG-Power-Y-Cable-/380787104840?pt=US_Cell_Phone_PDA_Cables_Adapters&hash=item58a8ae1c48

Or

would like to know if anyone has tried this with success TIA

Multiple XBOX Wireless Controllers! issues with one instance of the controller

hi there
i think if there is any hope in getting this to work, it would be through a method related to this method.
As you might now, if you have one wireless receiver and connect two different wireless xbox controllers to it, android would recognise them as one controller. meaning that the controllers share the same actions and you can't play any multiplayer games.
BUT if you have different types of controllers, meaning one xbox wired, one xbox wireless, then it works fine. this is true of any two or even four DIFFERENT controllers. (eg, PS3, etc) i am assuming that this is because there is only one keylayout file per a controller type?

so my question is is there any way of duplicating that? so that one can get several controllers to work?

you might think this is stupid, lol as no one plays multiplayer on their phone, tablet. but this is something which is going to get big, especially since the NVIDIA shield tablet has come out. people are being forced to buy four controllers for over £200 which are made by NVIDIA. which is clearly stupid.
and with NVIDIA shield Multiplayer does make sense, as you can play any of your PC games and project onto a big tv as well.

thanks in advance for helping.

I have no problem with the Camera Spin
But my DPAD do not work...
This manual will help me?
Hi SirValrus,

I had the same problems like you.

Just try to use following files, they should work: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=40032337&highlight=dpad#post40032337

With best regards

Hey guys, I've modified the .kl file for the xbox 360 controller so that the dpad is now getting mapped to buttons.
I've tested it and the dpad now works in Conduit (it wasn't working for me before).
The dpad now works in the android gui as well as in emulators (I tested in snesoid).
It should theoretically work better in most games.

Just install it the same way as in the original post.
Thanks for the fix mate :good:

It works like a charm on my Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 Wi-Fi Edition 2014
