How to play video on Kindle Fire

Hi ..

Is there any movie player app that supports hardware acceleration on the kindle fire even? MX player does not support HW acceleration.


Do you really have to convert everything to mp4? If this is the deal, what a bummer.

Any suggestions anyone? I didn't root because this is going to my mother. I'm just sideloading

The movies can be played from Stock Gallery. Mostly mp4s! MKV can be converted to MP4 with xenon MKV (very FAST, keeping the original video intact)

I noticed MX will play my HD videos but audi goes out of sync Im see if converting videos to KF friendly format is any better. I dont mind converting, saves space and can just leave it running overnight.
