In my attempt to do this on Windows 7 Professional, 64 bit I got the error "xcopy isn't recognised as an internal or external command" Now, upon looking through the script I find the xcopy command, so the script calls it, and does it fine on your PC Westi.

No idea why this should be <_<

I understand your point but I am also running Windows 7 Professional x64.
It could be that you are running the wrong version. Try beta 3. I think I posted this advice in the tutorial. Because i have not written this script I am not able to tell you something about this error. Try to contact the person who did it (mentioned in first post).

Hey Westi. Just wanna see if you can help here. I created an update.zip fine when using CM6.1 nightlies, but with CM6.1 stable I can't seem to create a working zip. If I try to apply the zip, it'll try to flash, but then go immediately to recovery. Yes, the adb method works fine but it's a pain in the ass to do this everytime I wanna flash a new ROM.

Any help is appreciated :)

I know this issue but my fault was that I was not using Update.zip Modifier ( I just noticed there is a new Version out . ) You have maybe forgot to apply your .zip package with this Tool.Hope I could help. Regards.

OMG Just read the thread before posting in here. In first post it is detailed described and there is even a flashable zip for legend.

Hello there,

Thanks for all your great work. I flashed the zip you have prepared for the Legend, but when I rebooted I got the Cyanogen default look, not the one in your screenshot. Any ideas for that?

Thank you.

Hey,
First of all: I don't know what you had done wrong but I prepared a Checklist for you :p
Some Questions may sound stupid but everybody is making such mistakes, so let's go:
-Did you load the right Rom ? ( This one should work. <- The same of the first thread with Cyanogenmod 6.1 )
-Maybe the file you load is corrupt so try to reload the Rom. ( how long did the flashing take ? if it was very short I would really try to load it again)

To all others with such problems using a method to build your own themed rom:
-Check if you signed the Rom with Update.zip Creator/modifier in some cases you don't even noticed if something went wrong.

-> randomXP please try again to flash the downloaded rom and give me a feedback please.

Thank you for the reply. Now to the answers:

- I did load the right ROM: CM6.1Stable.
- The flashing took several minutes, I didn't receive an error, but after reboot the phone doesn't look like in the screenshot. I mean I still had ADWLauncher (not Launcher Pro), the wallpaper is different, etc.

I tried again to flash the ROM but I got the same result.

Thank you.

Ah ok now I See. The flashing is only changing statusbar and keyboard and a few other changes. The wallpaper and launcherPro is not changing. But I did write it under the pictures, that launcher and so on is not changed.

Edit: i just want to keep you individual and not to copy my stile :p

I'm trying to port Eclair theme ElegantSteel-Alpha1-VE-5-0 to Froyo BlaYo Rom but with no success
theme link: xttp://ebupof.deviantart.com/art/ElegantSteel-Alpha1-VE-5-0-173624062

I'v noticed that in ElegantSteel framework-res there are drawable-mdpi, drawable-land-mdpi etc folders but in BlaYo Rom there are drawable-en-mdpi-v4, drawable-land-mdpi-v4 and so on...

I'm a little bit confused...

Ok, I reneamed folders of the old rom as the new one and now it works.
The problem is the notifications bar, it's not themed, I think because BlaYo Rom is based on stock HTC Froyo and I have to theme com.htc.resources.apk too, am I right?

I think you are right. Good work man. Does the HTC.resources thing have the same structure and file naming as framework-Res? If not, it's nearly impossible to rename all files to fit into HTC.resources. This theme is obviously not compatible with HTC sense. If you want to use it, you maybe have to resize Icons and so on. This could be the reason why it's not possible to port themes to sense.
Try it. I am exited.
