How to port themes to HTC Legend (example Minimal Matte)

i have a backflip and ive been trying to prot the minimal theme thats on the guide, but all i get are bootloops, i know im doinq something wrong, but i think i have the steps correct,

1. Put the orginal roms framework and apps, in the new/framework and new/apps,
then put the theme framework in the old/framework and theme apps in the old/apps.

2. run the batch files and im running cm6 beta 2 for backflip, so both of them are froyo, so i do option 1?
&& the theme is hdpi so i toggle mdpi.

3. after the new folder is themed i copy files in the files to Update-Packager,
i put them in a place/system and and then make an update script,
do option 1, then do SYSTEM,
then framework
framework, then
SYSTEM
Apps then apps, then done, then sign? then flash?? Am i doing something wrong??
