How to protect ROMs?

You dont know what batch files are, but you want to make your own ROM? If you dont know the 1st, I can't believe you actually made a ROM yourself.

A batch file is a simple text file, with extension .bat. So autoexec.bat is an example.
In it, you can specifcy commands, which will be executed when you run the batch file.

I have made some roms already :)

But i have see for two minutes that the post ist from the "elf upgrade forum". So i think that this manual doesn't work by HD

Have anybody also a solution for me?

some of the methods: hex the first imgfs header for OS partition
set partition type to 0x403 or something

p.s. its only a start for making the rom really protected

p.p.s. if someone shed some light on pdaviet protection, where you get this beautiful directory "Make your own ROM", that would be perfect

This is done by all_packages_to_one. See the cooking class thread. It has been discussed before.

I have must do this from post 2. But in English i haven't understood it first.
