+1 to this. Had to buy another note since but I have blown through 3 SD cards now with this miracle method. Have a n900a collecting dust thinking I shoulda just paid for JTAG repair at this point 32g ain't cheap. Any help would be awesome. Was on kit kat when I bricked just trying to Odin back to mj5 to fix a boot loop and my laptop died. Was on dynamik when it hapoen

No it doesn't boot to download mode or anything. The image wrote successful to the SD with win32 disk manager. I even plugged phone in after with Odin running but does not show added. Now my SD card shows it the image on it but trying to format only shows its 15mb. There goes another one ...


Is there a link to a newer unbrick image possibly?

you may can reformat them sdcards

also you cannot see anything on them with windows after you flash them with the brick.image , you have to veiw them with a linux system

try putting this image on sdcard with win32

just do not throw them away LOL

I just formated a mini sdcard with the HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool that windows 7 said it could not format (one I put a brick.img on)

according to the OP it should boot to download mode

remove the microSD card from the reader
remove the battery and sim from your device
insert your unbrick microSD into your phone
insert the battery and press the power button, it should boot
reboot into Download mode either via adb or Volume Down + Home + Power
use stock odin files to restore your phone

No luck. Thanks for trying though. I appreciate it. Thinking about sending out for JTAG or something. I think eBay has a deal they send you another phone for like $75 and you give then your phone. I've been at it with this thing for 3 months now

you tryed the USB-Jig? I made one myself and it works, turned phone off, then soon as you plug it in it reboots the phone to download mod

first question is, what version was your phones bootloader?
