How to remove Xperia small apps and manager

If the small apps (calculator, notes, recorder, timer) annoy you when you press the task button here's a quick easy way to solve it.

Firstly you need root.

• To remove the full small apps bar simply un-install/delete "SmallAppManagerService.apk" or "com.sony.smallapp.managerservice" from "system/app"
• To keep the app bar but remove individual items here is the list of app and package names to remove from "system/app"

SmallApp-Calculator = com.sony.smallapps.calc
SmallApp-Notes = com.sony.smallapps.notes
SmallApp-Recorder = com.sony.smallapps.recorder
SmallApp-Timer = com.sony.smallapps.timer

I suspect for many of us the small apps are as uninteresting as a mouses fart. They don't disturb. I am not aware of them using any relevant system resources. But they don't do anything for me. And they don't replace the bigger "sibling" apps. If an app is important I'll put it as a shortcut on my screen anyway.

That space should be used to give access to some phone functions. It could be a display area for a battery graph, the connected wifi network, the first two lines of the last message (be it SMS, Whatsapp or else), or a few on/off toggles, a reboot button, ..... so many useful ideas. Or a or new function which engages a low power state (reduce screen brightness, wireless, and GSM power by half or so, in conjunction with timer for Stamina Mode.

I got a Sony Rom for my Xperia Z Ultra for which the small apps where removed so I took all files he removed back into System/App but I cannot get Small Apps to show.
Any ideas?
