Hi

A couple of weeks ago, i got a new phone which was a lg k7, now i actually like this phone since its better than my old Samsung galaxy light and runs really smoothly, now i wanted to root my lg k7 so i decided to install kingroot and it actually. Did root my phone, however, i also wanted to replace kingroot with supersu so basically i installed SuperSu-me to help me replace KingRoot With SuperSU and it actually did, now SuperSU asked me to reboot which i did, however, when i rebooted, my phone was. Stuck on The MetroPCS logo and thrre was nothing i could do, so yeh, i actually did get a replacement phone for my k7 and everything. Is fine now.

So is there anyway i can replace Kingroot with SuperSU without soft bricking in the future?

DON'T USE KingRoot!!!

SAFE ROOT INSTRUCTIONS:

Do NOT use KingRoot, do NOT use scripts!!

Use the two files below to SAFELY root your LG K7 MetroPCS MS330 or T-Mobile K330.

Download KingOroot v3.1

https://root-apk.kingoapp.com/kingoroot-download.htm

You have to run KingORoot v6.7 multiple times after updating to MS33010G firmware/security patch, so keep trying up to 4 or more times to make sure. Mine kept auto rebooting and succeeded on 4th try.

Download Super-SUme v6.7

https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B6xMD81cEq7gWHBfT2hxUDRqdk0/view?usp=drivesdk

ROOT INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Make sure OEM unlock enabled in developer options

2. Install KingOroot v3.1 and click one click root and wait until it says root succeeded.

3. Install Super-SUme v6.7, tap blue button and wait until it gets stuck at "stage 6 cleaning" and lastly...

4. Go to Play Store and install latest SuperSU, run it and tap New User.

If SuperSU at any point says binary needs to be updated, choose ok and click NORMAL method and reboot.

XPOSED INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Install XposedInstaller apk:

2. Install Busybox:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=stericson.busybox

3. Install Terminal Installer Xposed:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mcs.txi

I have LG K8 (K350) Android 6.0 from manufacture
tried you method but it didn't work because Kingoroot always shows root failed
Not sure if it will work for the K8.

JUST DO NOT USE KINGROOT!!!

I bricked 2 K8's and had to return them to the store.

I had to run KingORoot 4 times in a row after K7s security patch update.

How many times did you run it in a row?

Try manually rooting your K8 (or any phone):

Hey, thank you for helping me install root on my k7, i really appreciate it.

However i did install busybox and the xposed install.

I attemped to use the terminal installer x app and when i tried to install it
It said that.

Failed! Extracted system/xposed.prop not found and i tried to install it multiple times but the installer kept on giving me the same error over and over. Is there a fix to this?

Sometimes it gives people problems and I am not sure why... try installing Apps 2nd and wipe dalvik cache and try again.

Uninstaller busybox, terminal installer, Xposed alpha, wipe dalvik and try again
