You can't get back to factory and unroot either, right? Is the rom in the stock slot the stock rom? If so I think you can factory reset through android recovery (warranty repair/replacement). .. I'll hit up Dutch to confirm. ..Eh, it's not that big of a deal. I can be rooted, just can't load ROMs. I'll see if I can do something about it.
Of course I can. As I mentioned in my previous post, I tried to use Kies to restore it but it failed. So I ODIN'd back to a stock rom, then used Samsung Kies to restore and it worked. However, I still can't flash roms. I'll have no problem doing something about this phone. You can't get back to factory and unroot either, right? Is the rom in the stock slot the stock rom? See if your "auto network switch" is checked in settings> wifi> menu>advancedI'm on me but having wifi issues... It says it's off in settings but when I try to configure it it says it's on but nothings shows up. When access points do show up n I click on them my phone freezes for about 30 seconds then connects. Due to the wifi issues with this phone I get dropped from wifi a lot at work n along with this issue I catch hell trying to reconnect not to mention I'm burning up my data

I have mine set to unchecked because it'll auto switch between CDMA/4G LTE to WiFi when it recognizes an access point. I want to be in control so I leave mine off.Should it be? I just checked it rebooted n no change

You need to recover by using ODIN again and try a stock download.Been at this ALL DAY and I need my phone to work asap!
I think procedures the original poster noted will fix my problem (or not), but the trouble I have is my Note 3 (SM-N900V) will only go into Download Mode. I can't get into my phone to set it to Debugging Mode.
I tried to root using root-de-la-vegas via Odis3.09 and ended up with what I'll call a soft brick?
I also tried Kies with no luck.
How can I get out of this mess?
You need to recover by using ODIN again and try a stock download.
Download this stock software:
Pull your battery.
Reinstall your battery.
Launch ODIN.
Plug your phone into your USB cable and make sure a COM port shows up.
Put the file you downloaded above into the AP slot in ODIN and change nothing else.
Click START.
Pray it finished.
Unchecked...Should it be? I just checked it rebooted n no change

Good to hear! Did you figure out the issue, or did it just start letting you flash roms?[/COLOR]And az_biker,
I was able to finally get JellyBeans installed.
If you're talking about rooting MJE via Kingo, just follow the steps, super easy, no video needed.Hey can someone point me in the right direction of a video for this process? The process that I see all are for the root de LA Vega and not the Universal
