Multi booting roms is a really neat feature of Safestrap...I just wish that the bootloader of the note 3 could be unlocked so we won't be stuck with TW based roms forever...

Can you please give me the site or video that gives me good instructions on how to rollback from NC to mje. I have Odin and retail firmware. Verizon note 3.

Flash MJE in Odin, root with Kingo (see my Root thread for kingo 1.1.6) or vroot, install SS 3.65, flash cust 4.3 rom.

There may be a quicker more short cut way, but this will remove everything NC2 related.

Just follow the 'how to root note 3' and 'Odin' links in my sig.

Remember DO NOT TAKE VZW OTA NC4

It's incremented so you can NOT go back to 4.3 as you can with NC2 LEAK

Do I need to wipe data after I go back to retail rom?
If you mean after you've flashed MJE stock image in Odin, and you're not going to install SS or cust roms, no wipe needed.

If you are going to install Safestrap & flash cust roms, yes, wipe (factory reset slider in SS recovery) each time before flashing new rom (clean install).

Thanks for quick response.
For now I am going to go back to mje. I will root phone again. I will install ss for later use.
I was happy using mje before as long as I can remove all the garbage. I usually put custom rom on phone when rom on phone feels old.
You are wonderful please keep up your efforts they are appreciated

If you're going to root and install SS, might as well flash a stable cust rom will all the crap removed. BajaRom 11 and Beans 6 are both MJE based, very stable, not overly customized roms. BeansTown106 is a great dev but may be focusing on another carrier or device. Bajasur of BajaRom is a top notch dev and very present/active in his thread.

If you aren't into tweaking every feature and just want a nice solid rom, either rom mentioned is incredible as flashed with no need for further tweaking.

Not to mention there's a ton of support for both roms.

Thanks for the nice words about this thread. Best regards whichever rom road you travel :D

pulled battery still stuck on verizon screen
Click the ODIN link in my sig, start from scratch, you may have a bad tar file, hard to say.

Re-download mje tar, flash in odin.

Make sure you follow the Odin process step for step. It's worked flawlessly countless times.

Lemme know how it goes

I Hate Kit Kat NC4

Once on nc4, you can't flash back to nc2/mje.

I'm new to this. I joined because I foolishly accepted the Verizon Note 3 KitKat update and I'm trying to back to the previous release. It broke the text reflow on my browser and emails, which is 75% of what I do. I went from loving my phone to not even carrying it with me and going back to a Sprint S/3.

Do you think anyone will develop a technique to let me go back from KitKat? If you think someone will figure a way to do this, is there a forum or thread I should monitor to catch when/if it happens?
