I managed to root Lenovo K5 Note A7020a48.
Has anyone managed to port/create a custom recovery/ROM for it?

What do you mean?
I rooted my phone by downgrading from marshmallow to lollipop. Everything went fine and all functions are working. The IMEI is the same.
I want to know if anyone has successfully managed to port or make a custom recovery or ROM.

One using "umi super device with mtk 6755"

And the second one with twrp recivery image having size almost equal to lenovo a7020a48 stock recovery firmware version s318...
