how to root lenovo vibe k5 note ?

Lenovo K5 Note A7020a48 will get root soon !!

Mate, sorry to disappoint you, but at the moment, rooting from Lollipop is the only way to obtain root.

To obtain root on Marshmallow, we need someone who knows how to reverse engineer and patch kernel files. So, unless you can do that (the people in this thread, including me, have tried without success), there is no way to root the device on Android 6.0 right now.

Can't we create a New Preloader for it. Its the only way we can ger rid of Image File check and Install Custom Recovery.

I too created a TWRP but it gives a tool dl error. So I have no idea if it will work.

Guys we have to focus in unlock the bootloader. Doensn't matter if we have TWRP or not... We can't flash it with locked bootloader !
