Guys, the post looks genuine. The link for it is : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1kJLXUfdyME
Would like someone to confirm it by trying. Of course , he mentions it as a temporary root. But I think you can't flash custom recoveries like TWRP,etc, as a locked bootloader won't allow it.

Thanks buddy. It looks like a good effort, and if working will surely help. As the bootloader has not yet been unlocked, atleast rooting may help somehow.

• Flashing Custom Recovery Like TWRP failed and gived me a red state like that pic:

--I Tried many versions of ports to a7020 and also mediatek helio p10--

• Also I Tried to port a Nougat Rom and pack it into a "system.img" then I used the SP Flashtool.
Flashing was successful but I faced a bootloop, so I returned to Marshmallow and deleted the System.img that I created. I don't know if the problem of bootloop is from my wrong port or from the locked bootloader

As I mentioned, the locked bootloader is blocking the boot process, as it discovers the recovery partition is customised. So no TWRP until unlocking.
Same way all the ports will fail for the same reason. Even root dissappears because of that.
Developers can unlock the bootloader. Hope someone helps atleast now after 3 years of waiting.

I read in this thread -from a long time- that there were developers were working on it. But there was no response or results.

I know it is a silly request; Don't you know any developer with who we can contact ?

You ask motorola for a key

Can the system update from lollipop to marshmallow unroot the mobile?
Fr
You can mail the oem unlock data to motorola and they will send you the key to unlock the bootloader.

HardReset.info website:
5. Type in mfastboot oem get_unlock_data and press enter. To get data from a phone that are needed to generate bootloader unlock password.

Example: On a Windows Desktop, the returned string format would be

$ fastboot oem get_unlock_data
(bootloader) 0A40040192024205#4C4D3556313230
(bootloader) 30373731363031303332323239#BD00
(bootloader) 8A672BA4746C2CE02328A2AC0C39F95
(bootloader) 1A3E5#1F53280002000000000000000
(bootloader) 0000000

On a Mac OS Desktop, the returned string format would be
INFO0A40040192024205#4C4D3556313230
INFO30373731363031303332323239#BD00
INFO8A672BA4746C2CE02328A2AC0C39F95
INFO1A3E5#1F53280002000000000000000
INFO0000000

6. Copy together the 5 lines of output into one continuous string without (bootloader) or ‘INFO’ or white spaces. Your string needs to look like this:
0A40040192024205#4C4D355631323030373731363031303332323239#BD008A672BA4746C2CE02328A2AC0C39F951A3E5#1F532800020000000000000000000000

7. To get bootloader unlock password you must have an account on Motorola page, just create it, is for free.

8. Past this string to Motorola page for unlock bootloader in correct field and press button Can my device be unlocked.

**Trouble is I do not get anything when I try get oem unlock from fastboot mode.

We can flash anything but none work

Hello everyone I obtained temp root using mtksu bootless root method so now I can flash anything within android such as for example lk.bin
Code:
su
dd if={path to it} of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p20
but after flashing twrp I got red State warning after 10s it booted to system but I tried flash patched magisk kernel too but it also gave same error but didn't booted as kernel is a requirement to system so again I flashed stock boot.img using spft and it booted normally do any of you have a mtk unlocked device if yes please can you give me a copy of locked and unlocked lk.bin extract it with dd if you have I can help you surely how to extract it

If you get it I will compare it with beyond compare and see what's different in those two files and make same changes to our k5 note's lk.bin hope we will be successful in unlocking it
