No thanks i need for 4.4.2 version
Edit: kinda ninja'd ?

Ah. In that case, use your PC to Odin the very latest Philz Touch Recovery tar.md5 to your phone, boot into recovery, Philz has re-root option in one of its menus, that's it.

[BATTERY] Plasma Battery! ??? & wickeddecimalbarwide_colors

Charging still shot

Rooting:
restart the phone by holding: volume up/home and power buttons and you'll now be in the custom recovery menu, red in color.

using touch or the volume buttons to scroll and power button to select, go to: install zip>choose zip from /storage/sdcard1>DE-SAMSUNGNIZER_KNOX_REMOVAL_SCRIPT_V1.0>Yes-install

once that's done you're going to do the same steps by going back and this time installing UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.93>yes-install...once done, reboot your phone.
Sorry for a Noob question but is the order in which the DE-SAMSUNGNIZER_KNOX_REMOVAL_SCRIPT_V1.0 is installed with respect to the SuperSU zip important? I am on VM stock 4.4.2 ROM with Philz recovery and already rooted. Can I still use this script to DE-SAMSUNGIFY or is there another method available for people who're at this stage or beyond? TIA

I've run this process several times and while it says it works, I do not have root. I took 4.4.2 OTA. I've flashed with Odin...then Phil....then updated SU....all confirms it worked...reboot and android updates all apps... but no root...I've used Chainfire and that just aborts...any help or advice...haven't had a rooted device in 6 months...

You can gain root access through philz touch recovery.

When you complete this process are you able to open super user or supersu? Or is the app there or not?

Actually another user stated that if you take the OTA rooting becomes a pain in the rear... ---" To root the phone download Odin the the computer and download chainfire root zip if you're YouTube it it will give you the links for the downloads and walk you step by step on how to root it.. DO NOT DO THE OTA SYSTEM UPDATE TO 4.4.2.. YOU WILL LOOSE ROOT. AND THE SAME METHOD WILL NOT WORK ANYMORE.. EVEN WHEN IT SAYS PASS YOU ARE STILL NOT ROOTED AND NO SUPERSU.."-----

Correct...auto reboot is unchecked...I pull the battery...go into Phil....run the 2 files....everything passes...then reboot to an unrooted phone

I have the same issue. I flashed Philz in Oden, The Supersu app is on my phone but when I try to open it, it says "unfortunately superuser has stopped"

I am able to boot into Philz recovery but I just get bootloops when I try to clean flash a ROM. Fixing root in Philz doesn't work either.

with Philz when you wipe to flash a new rom there's an option under regular factory reset that will wipe every thing for a new rom  and it will say flash the new rom then you do and it works :) and when you root with Philz hit re-root(superSU) and it helps if superSU isn't installed on your phone so then you download it from the play store after you root with Philz then it should work :)

This is what I already did, the clean flash and I already tried to fix root with Philz. I did it again and it looks to be stuck on the screen right before the splash screen, the one that says "Samsung GALAXY S III" :(

that is the splash screen.......on stock at least and try to Odin back to stock then Odin Philz then root the stock rom with Philz and stay there for now and after you get stock to the way you like it then make a backup then flash the custom rom you want

wait if you Odin ND8 you can't Odin anything under that bootloader or you'll brick your phone
Back to stock? I am flashing stock ND8 :D

One thing, every time I flash Philz I never rebooted into recovery, I always have to uncheck auto reboot and pull the battery and manually volume up+home+power to get into Philz after flashing...

well what you can do if you time it right is with auto-reboot checked once the phone is in the turn off stage before the Samsung screen shows hold both Vol. Up+Home Button and you can boot into recovery that way but what i do is uncheck auto-reboot then with the cord still connected hold the power button then wait for the Charging screen to show up cause that turns off the phone then i hold Power+Vol. Up+Home then boot into recovery :)
