How To Root XOLO Q1010i

Full unroot will do it permanently!

is there an option in superuser!!! AFAIK there aint.. ive used CWM superuser, CHAINDD superuser.., CHAINFIRE's superuser there wasnt any option for full unroot if youre rooted just snapshot it and post over here coz i dont believe SU just unroots coz we have to lock the bootloader SU dont do it...

Hi! I am talking about SuperSU not superuser. Superuser is not by Chainfire! Have a look here:

SuperSU is by ChainFire and Superuser is by ChainDD (If I am not wrong). I find SuperSU more better because it pop ups when app asks for root permissions while Superuser opens a new window and you can only tick options after 3 seconds.

m stuck at xolo logo i guess i erased the rom image and the official update.zip cannot be flashed through recovery...

Bad move need help!!!!!

I have tried to install chainfire 3d on it. A dumb step My Phone hanged at Boot logo. The Device Gone into softbrick. i tried flashing Preloader.bin and then got into hardbrick It doesnt even boot up and show logo.

Hi
Try flashing the stock rom either jb or kitkat. But don't use format option.
If u have already used that option, then only the factory can help u.
Take it to the service station.

m bugged up... i brought back the hardbrick to soft brick...

i can tell you how m making new post for that..

i got errors like... no file_contexts verifying current system n ****..

so at last managed to unbrick it...

1. use this link to download the usb drivers. if it its a zip/rar package, extract it.

2. install them.
3. use this link to download SP Flash tools. same for zip/rar, extract.

4. try long pressing the power button, the phone should power off after a brief vibration. if not- let the battery drain it will switch off automatically.
5. charge the phone to around 70% at least but do not switch it on or connect it yet.
6. open SP flash tools. select this file

from the extracted rom folder under scatter-loading
7. VERY Important : select 'download only' mode for flashing. if the phone was running and had root access i would recommend backing up your IMEI number, but its out of the question in your case.
8. click on the green download arrow.
9. now connect the phone.
10. you will see a red line filling the bottom of the flash tool window followed by yellow and purple.
11. a dialog saying download complete with a green tick mark will pop up.
12. disconnect the phone.
13. switch it on, do a factory reset via settings if you want.

I added the miui permission control to priv-app and it seems to help. but the kernel default prop need the secure setting set to

Yesterday i brought q1010i .. And now scarred to root this phone ..if this phone not boot up ..stuck to boot ..? .
Can u give link of its official rom ..and CWM recovery also ..
And plz tell me which framaroot version works properly for q1010i

for jb.. framroot 1.91 works fine.
for kk .. u have to flash custom recovery an flash a super su zip.
before u root do this:
1. usb debugging should be ON
2. Install Drivers on ur PC n see whether it detects ur phon....

search in xda ull get everything u need....:good:
