Really nice to see you here. It's like a reunion of the OG EpicDon't open the file when you download it; you use it as it is in Odin.

Other than the 1970 dates it puts on all the backups, what's so buggy about it?

I did this all the time when I was using my Gnex lolAnyone else coming from the original Evo and constantly hitting the power button accidentally while in Recovery? Since the Evo's volume rocker was on the right, I'm soo use to using the right side to navigate in Recovery. Ahh, this is an annoying and dangerous habit that I need to break!![]()
Can someone answer this for me please?Would I benefit from unrooting and rerooting via the new method?
And would I lose data in the process?

Probably no benefit if you are already rooted. It is just meant to be easier than cyber's instructions because it has fewer steps by doing everything needed for rooting in one .zip.Can someone answer this for me please?

looks like they built it for att also. I may be wrong but heres the link.I installed clockworkmod.TAR (7000 kb) on the 23rd
Now when I follow the link I see CWM-Recovery-LTE-SGS3-v1.tar.md5 (7001 kb)
Are they the same? If not, what fixes were incorporated?

Instructions to install CWM on SGS3 LTE variants.

Root stock SGS3 ROM by flashing a single .zip.
I need verification from a new SGS3 owner who hasn't rooted yet. Can they follow the directions in these two pages to install CWM and root their phone? Can they provide feedback on what confused them in the instructions and how we can improve those guides?
If these instructions and the new root tool .zip works as expected, then these will replace all current root & recovery threads.
