Hi,
I have an hd+, rooted with the sd card works good. There are a couple of apps that say that they are incompatible, wondering if I can load them manually? If so how?
One is Chrome, not sure if it will work, but that and a couple others I would like to try.

Thanks,
Steve

Yes, I was able to get them off my phone. Copy the .apk file to your computer and then adb install them. See this for detailed instructions:

If you are rooted and have "unknown sources" enabled as part of the rooting, you do not need ADB to install apps. Just copy the apk file to your nook and open it with a file manager. It will ask you if you want to install it.

Google ".apk download" and you will see many hits, you can also google the specific one you want like "facebook apk".
Also you can go to 1mobile.com and download their store app. It has many of the same apps as Play Store but does not mark them incompatible.
