How to turn off performance mode? [Mi 5s Plus]

Dear fellas,

I am new to MiUi, and that day I was reading that other versions of MiUi for different models have had a performance mode that clocks up the CPU. I managed to find a way to turn it on (this option is not available straight forward for the 5s Plus), using the first method mentioned here on mi official website:

"Method 1 : Using Mi Verification App .
Download Mi Anti Fake app from here ....
Install it and then open it. It will first ask to turn on Performance mode. And there you go simple easy."

But then, I want to turn it off (or at least have the option to turn it on or off again). Anybody has a clue? I am not even sure if it's on or not.

The link above has another method which the author wants to install adb and fastboot. I tried it but it didn't work for me. Any help is much appreciated.

There is the possibility of setting the battery performance from the battery app. There you can choose to "review battery performance" and as a result confirm to apply the settings to improve battery performance (this is equivalent to put off applicationts utilizing battery) then you are back to "balanced mode"
