I had this problem, I've just reboot my phone and never had the problem anymore. Hope it'll help

first of all you should check your MIUI version, if by any chance your MIUI ver is 7.1.91.0 ( officialy is 7.1.1.0 )then it's tampered miui, you better flash/manualy updte to official rom, since most redmi 3 phones that came with tampered rom tend to have problem with it's hardware
