I have a suggestion for you. Why don't you boot in fastboot mode and flash gpt.bin, then reboot into fastboot again and then Flash the rest. It's working perfectly for me

Hello guys! I'm trying to repair my device Moto G2 XT1078 for a long time. It got bricked as well the others devices. Installed 5.0.1 then unlocked bootloader and rooted the phone, returned to 4.4.4 and received an OTA update and then BOOOOOOM! Got hard bricked.
My question is: If the CPU is the same why this procedure is not working on THEA (XT1078 or XT 1072) device? Anyone can help us with that please??? I've done everything exactaly how is explained here...

Hello, I'm new to the forum and I have a problem with my bike g 2013 (XT1032 EU). sorry for my bad language, but the English is not my strength. I have the phone in Hard Bricked, I was able to install the drivers and do recognize as Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008, but by the time I have to perform blankflash gives me the error greting device for command mode. I tried all possible solutions by downloading various versions of blankflash available on the internet but I can not. It states that before the motion g broke I had installed TWRP and CM 13. Please help :crying:

Guys I forgot to tell you can easily downgrade once you flashed a 4.4.4 ROM. I installed the Brazilian retail then downgraded to 4.4.3, then 4.4.2. Once you downgraded to 4.4.2 you can switch to GPE or whatever you want

After striking out on the forums for 6-10 hours I finally found the blankflash files for lollipop by googling (I'm a new member so I can't post the link):

"The Ultimate Ways To Fix A Dead MOTO G - Part 1"

and I finally unbricked my xt1045. I had the 4.4.4 OTA brick. No more error with the flash failing like on earlier blankflash versions.

So basically all you need is a hardbricked device which most of you have already.
Steps:
-install python
visit this link for it https://www.python.org/downloads/
-install pyserial2.7
visit this link for it https://pypi.python.org/pypi/pyserial
-Last step should be to plug in your device into the pc and run "RUN_BOOT.bat"
Hopefully this works if it dosent work pm me or tell me over the thread.
I also didnt use the phone because i didnt have one.
