@FabioSan
I have bricked Moto G4 Plus. And I had already told you in this thread before. The blankflash file for G4 Plus didn't work for me. So guys were saying as I was updated to the latest update. The blankflash file won't work for me. They told I need an updated blankflash.

But someone told me that there is nothing like updated blankflash and u have permanently bricked your device.

So my question. Is there anything like updated blankflash?

I downgraded my phone and most probably messed up my gpt and bootloader. Is there any way out with an updated blankflash?

Unfortunately no..
Damn. That's sad.

I had been searching everywhere how to fix but nothing worked.

I was thinking if I could just get to my device's storage and format it completely and then repartition back to its original state and then use a backup from an other Moto G4 Plus.
Then it may work.

But I don't know how to get to my device's internal memory.

Is there any way? This process I mentioned is the courtesy of this post. Do u think it will work?

Again, I have to write a no, unfortunately.. Motorola has made a modded version of boot image, differently how is on other snapdragon devices. Also, the problem is the brick caused with the bootloader downgrade you forced when you downgraded.. Motorola doesn't allow to downgrade with bootloader.. So, basically, you can only change motherboard of your phone, actually..
I'm sorry if I'm not of any help :/

Ohhh. That's ? sad. I have been using custom roms since years but never heard of downgrading. Well I learnt it the hard way.

And I can't change the motherboard it's like 200$ for a 250$ device.

And man thanks for answering my noob questions. You were totally of great help. Thanks a ton. ?

XT1033 blank flash don't work for me (lollipop)

Hi, excelent tutorial, but in my in hardbricked XT1033 the blankflash procedure don't work. The drivers are ok (Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008), but on blankflash I get the error:

Target ERROR: 7 - Open multi failed, unknown error
FAILED (sdl-transfer-image:send-image:sdl-open-multi:target error)

Any suggestions?
Thanks!
(sorry for my bad english)

Black Screen

I have my phone bricked, my screen is black, my phone is unblocked, I tried to load, but only the led blink and nothing more, the screen is still black. I think is in a hard brick. How do I fix it?
Thank you.

In case your phone doesn't go on bootloader mode or do weird things:
By @hakneo :

If anyone is not able to connect as Moto Mfastboot mode driver and your battery is not charging through USB as told in guide, this may help.

1. Start up the device manager. Uninstall any UNKNOWN Moto devices.
2. Remove the device cable and Uninstall Motorola Driver software.
3. Restart the PC in normal mode and reinstall the Moto Driver suite.
4. Hold the down volume and connect the cable. Now Windows should install it and your phone will start charging.
Go ahead with the flash.

Note: If you get a bootloop, go back into bootloader mode with phone connected at pc and use again the bat file ;)

Every thanks is appreciated, if this procedure helped you ;)

While following the 13th Step, it's showing

greeting device for command mode
opening device: \\.\COM3
OKAY [ 0.005s]
greeting device for command mode
FAILED (blank-flash:greet-device:error reading packet)

C:\Users\Kamran\Desktop\blankflash>pause
Press any key to continue . . .

[My Device is: Moto G TE XT1557]

Kindly help me. I'm in so much trouble.

Quallcomm Driver Problem

I cannot seem to use the Qualcomm driver

Moto G3 xt1541 stuck on Bootlocked unloader screen, Fastboot and TWRP screens work

Device manager only sees it as a qualcomm device when I scroll from fastboot to Qcom, is this correct?

In this mode I cannot get it to work.

In fastboot mode it sees it as an android device and Windows insists on using ADB driver, Have tried removing drivers and using manual update to look in Qualcomm folder to no avail. In fastboot screen fastboot sees the device but ADB doesn't

If I try to boot to android nothing see it at all.

any ideas? I am a newb at this and need to get phone working urgently.

Many thanks for the tutorial.

Jerry

Sorted now

Ok I got some help from my nephew.

He loaded a stock zip, installed the stock recovery from it and did a factory wipe and reset then reinstalled the factory image using the instructions from another thread.

The first line failed but he ignored it and carried on and it seems to have worked.

I have now rooted it using
https://download.chainfire.eu/748/SuperSU/BETA-SuperSU-v2.62-2-20151211155442.zip?retrieve_file=1 (a different version I used did not work)

I am now trying to recover my sms messages using Fonelab, which is the reason I started this.

Hope this makes sense, 2.40 AM here in UK so not making much sense to me either.
