my phone was totally bricked a couple of hours ago.. i tried every method i know to bring it back to life...
it can not enter to flashmode and fastboot.. i even think to open the back cover to remove the battery and flash some files to be able to bring it back to life. but i didnt. i still tried to unbricked it by entering to flashmode. i unbricked my sony xperia z by doing this method.

1. connect the usb cable in your computer
2. open flashtool flasher for sony mobiles
3. click the lightning bolt icon and select flashmode
4. choose the firmware you want to flash that is compatible for your sony xperia z and then click "flash"
5. wait for the flashtool to finish the file preparation.
6. once an instructional pop up appeared, dont follow what its telling you to do, in the first place, your phone is dead, it will not enter to flashmode by following the instruction in the pop up screen.
7.plug the usb cable to your phone without pressing anything.
8. now, press vol up + powerbutton and wait till you feel 3 vibrations, it will wake the battery and the notification light will turn green, it means its flashing the firmware you selected.

thats it! i hope it helps....

Hope that's help? Seriously??

Hardbrick mean no flashmode
No fastboot
No LED light
No vibrates
No screen on
PC won't detect the phone when plugged

That *fix* for softbricked phones ONLY

That *fix* won't help people with hard bricked device

That *fix* will not work

TapaTalked from my Xperia™ Z (C660²) running Dirty Unicorns ROM!

Title is misleading.
The tutorial is for flashing stock firmware or fixing soft bricked phone
Hard bricked phone is difficult to be rectified by flashtool
