i followed all the steps from unlocking bootloader to s-off.. and now i am stuck in flashing recovery..
i have tried the first method but it just keep on saying waiting for device in cmd..
and the 2nd method i cant try because i cannot locate the KGs utility v6.6

question.. why is it the status of the phone does not say unlock instead it has =juopunut bear= on top
and from hboot 1.29 it became 1.27.1111 after i have done s-off.
and also i can see recovery option from it but it does not work..

hope someone will help. thank you!

Yeah hboot changes after unlock.. So is unlocked status
Now for recovery flash it separately.. Check flashing roms with son guide in sensation general section.. And do step #2

It found my device and did its job(not really), and my phone had to restart. But it keeps on restarting.
All what ControlBear says is trying to reconnect to my phone.
I didn't come to the point where I have to do the "Wire-Trick". The ControlBear logo didn't even show up on my HTC.
I still can launch the menu when I hold the Volume Down+ Power button.
It's not S-Off though, but that was to be expected.

Edit:
I made a topic in the Sensation Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Im having trouble at the temp root stage. My phone is unlocked, (following the first steps) but i begin to temp root, it restarts and i launch controlbear, but it says i have no root?

======== ControlBear 0.8 beta for JuopunutBear S-OFF ==========
Starting up......
Connecting to device...
Searching device.....
Found device.....but device has no root!!
Ensure that root permission is given to shell in your SU application
Press ENTER to exit.....

Any ideas why this is?

Thanks

looks like temp root failed
so run the temp root again
if temp root is done properly ..the phone should reboot with just status bar and black screen

DON'T TOUCH THE DEVICE OR UNPLUG WHILE TEMP ROOTING FOR JB SOFF!

REBOOT
error: protocol fault (status read)
error: more than one device and emulator
AGAIN REBOOT

NOW IS THE TIME TO RUN THE CONTROL BEAR AKA JUOPUNUTBEAR
--------NOW YOU DEVICE WILL HAVE ONLY STATUS BAR ON TOP
-----------PLEASE DONT TOUCH THE DEVICE AS UI IS UNSTABLE-------------
_____JUST RUN THE CONTROLBEAR AFTER THE DEVICE REBOOTED______
YOU CAN CLOSE THIS COMMAND WINDOW NOW
Press any key to continue . . .

Then do proper root... First undo the temp root.. Can be done via script linked at the end

Then root the device.. Properly.. Check my one click root solution present in soff guide ( link in my signature )

Then do the controlbear it should work then (don't try my soff solution.. As you already did the htcdev unlock)

As suspected the temp root is failing...
Go to task manager on pc.. Then Kill all adb.exe there.. Then run the temp root script

I'm using a Sensation XE, so do I choose my phone as 'Sensation EU' or should I choose 'other Supported Models'?
