how to unlock bootloader htc sensation xe hboot 1.29?

I got it unlocked,finally..using the htc dev method. i'm now running the viperS5 rom,i recently installed it...running smooth so far but I didn't go through the whole method to install it as needed. just run the zip in recovery and it worked. thought I was gonna brick the phone seeing that I didn't go through the full method because i'm a kind of noob,so I bypassed some stuff.

I have the same problem as you:

i'm trying to unlock bootloader for htc sensation xe but , i went ti htcdev and follow the steps , i downloaded fastboot and extract it , opened the cmd panel but the command fastboot oem get_identifier_token doesn't work at all , i don't know what's the problem i'm an amature with IT stuff , please help what am i doing wrong ?

do you have sdk tools installed?(adb,fastboot files)
have you enabled usb debugging mode from settings?
did you select fastboot when you entered to the bootloader?

Yeah i did all that and the device manager also sees the phone , but when i run my htc in fastboot mode and connect it , it just says that usb is not recognized, i'm not sure if the problem is from elsewhere because the htc sync can't see the phone i don't know why even after downloading drivers from the internet i tried the htc sync version provided on the htcdev , i also tried an older version downloaded from the internet

I have a issue with the unlocking process from HTCdev. When I type fastboot flash unlocktoken Unlock_code.bin I get following result:

sending 'unlocktoken' (0 KB)...
OKAY [ 0.156s]
writing 'unlocktoken'...
(bootloader) unlock token check successfully
OKAY [ 0.016s]
finished. total time: 0.172s
Can someone help me please? I am trying to install RUU but I need supercid because the RUU hangs at 37%. I want to try another RUU.

I have RELOCKED bl and S-ON. No rom can be loaded and when connected to PC I only get RUU screen with 4 triangles.
