[HOW tO] unlock,downgrade,and achieve s-off with htcDev

No problem i unlocked and rooted still have s-on but am currently running infection inverted Cdma dev edition.

i had it perfect. unlocked s-off rooted gingerbread with a nandrid. then i tried to install teh kk rom.

went to 5 buzs of death but still ahd recovery and fastboot.
enabled sd card
flached cm 7.2
enabeld USB ( fastboot worked but not adb)

downgraded, got s-off
BUT I AM NOW RELOCKED
so I cant flash form fast boot. or put a recovery.

fastboot oem get_identifier_token
... INFO[ERR] Command error !!!

flashing recovery gives me
sending 'recovery' (3064 KB)... OKAY [ 0.493s]

I was able to get cwm loaded by putting it in a pb31img.zip file ( i was s off so it worked fine)
i also have adb in recovery
i saw this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2509821
which shows it can be unlocked but i bet the blocks are different

Do I care if I am S-off and can use pb31img.zip and have recovery
i bet I just need a different h boot

which number should I have
