How to Unlock the Bootloader on the Honor 6X

You can do follow these instructions to unlock your Huawei GR5 2017. Absolutely work as well after unlocking and rooting my GR5 2017.

i need to know that "can we boot in fastboot mode if battery is dead?"
bcoz this is my current scenario:
my phone is dead and if i connect to power it automatically gets power and get stuck in bootloader warning screen and if i try to fastboot using usb method(hold vol- and insert usb) nothing happens it just shows honor logo for a second and again freezes in bootloader warning screen.also when the phone is completely turned off it doesnt respond to any combinations (like vol- and power or vol+ and power or vol+,-and power) but shows a red current symbol on screen with red led flashing and turns off.

somebody pls help me i dono in what situation i am right now...........any help appreciated

The link for the unlock website doesn't have the USA as a region option or any variation on the country's name. How to create the required ID for an American bought phone with an American phone number and service? Can anyone please help and inform me? Trying to unlock and root my nephews phone so it can be ad free like all my devices.

Create an ID in the chinese website or in any region! And then request the unlocking code

But isn't a phone number required and for that a proper regional country based prefix or am I missing something here?

My bad I didn't explain well, contract honor support (let's say the one in the UK) and ask for unlocking code, they will ask for IMEI...etc
After that you should get the unlocking code.
PS: if they didn't give you, try another regions support

I'm technically on the try another region part now. Straight up contact with them from Arizona and they gave the typical 'We don't do that because you can damage your phone and you should enjoy our terrible and illogical firmware we've stuck you with' drivel. I'll use a VPN to change perceived location and contact the Asia or UK support.

Remove IMEI.
Why not save the codes for future reference. Have seen many users doing this and then code not generating again. Keepntrying and save the cose plz for future. It will relock most of the time when you go stock or update

only thing to unlock your phone is Dc unlocker.
