How to update Huawei Mate 20 Pro With Locked Bootloader

I can confirm it worked in my Optus branded M20 Pro. Although the splash screen/brand logo is still there. When I checked the software I am now on .187, I will restore my data and see if there is no issues. Thanks!

Procedure:
1. Downloaded the zip
2. Unzip the files
3. Copied the dload on my sandisk dual
4. Used my USB-C otg plug in the phone
5. dialed *#*#2846579#*#* and go to Software Update and then select usb upgrade

I have installed this firmware, everything works perfect, but my user does not show me in the top part of settings, all the huawei services work for me, hicare, cloud and everything, but it does not show the user in settings, someone knows why ?

it does not let me use themes, for some reason the themes app does not link my Huawei ID, all the other Huawei apps work for me without problems, any ideas?

If you flash a EU 432 over a 636, it will make your device a 432 version - and vice versa.

I tell you, a month ago I installed the firmware 171 on my device C69 with FH, yesterday I installed this latest firmware 187 with the files of the post without problem, this was possible thanks to which FH forced it? or independently of FH can anyone install these fimrware regardless of their region code?

I believe that this firmware is not Google certified and Google pay/banking apps detect root and do not work.

That's not accurate. I have flashed 187 and I get Google store certified and I can use Google pay. 187 has been starting slowly to get deployed in Europe.

I had flashed 183 or 182 dont remember from FH and turned my device into a C636 model. I have now flashed with this offline method the 187 c432 and my device is back on it original c432 state.
