I took the plunge and looking good so far. I did a backup using the Huawei Backup app before installing and after restoring that I'm not seeing any of the issue related to Huawei ID.

I solved my problem with themes, the firmware I had downloaded was one of halabtech that ends in "lvc" and I downloaded the first post that ends in "kvc", I installed it again and now everything works perfectly, but the Huawei ID does not appear in the upper part of settings, it only appears when I put it to search, but all the services work perfectly, I do not know if my region code is C69, some relationship will have

Im used a single Ucb C / Usb OTG (i got in my s9+ box) with a 32gb sandisk usb 3 pendrive. Its on NTFS partition. No problem, update installed correctly, working fine on my BRANDED phone.
If you inserting a stick via usbc/usb otg, phone will popup info about memory on status bar. If not, you dont have USBc/Usb3 otg or usb3 memostick...

!! There is no USB option in firmware update menu ( i dont have it), only memory card. Thats not a problem, phone using the usb stick as memory card, so hit that option.:)
The update wipe everything from the phone! And installing a full new FW. So you need to backup!

After update: everything working fine on me. Theme downloads too..... I dont have any problems, except one. After install, im restoring the backup. And some apps dont have icons, dont see them. Need to reinstall them. Thats all. Thanks! :)
