did you backup with ota rootkeeper before updating? If so you should be able to restore root. Then download and run supersu

SuperSU won't do anything once you've lost root, right?

I backed up with OTA Voodoo Rootkeeper and it said it restored root. Then I tried installing SuperSU and it said installation failed because it couldn't get permission from SuperUser to update the binary.

Sooo... I think we're up a creek with no paddle right now.

Yes, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, same thing. Voodoo shows me as rooted, but SuperUser isn't showing any root permissions. :(

Weird I'm out of ideas I guess you will have to re-root. Don't know if the one click root will work...

They added a settings option for the smart dimmer. Go into settings asus customized setting and untick enable smart back light adjuster voila. ASUS Ftw

One click root doesn't work, at least using debugFS automated root.

This sucks! Hopefully the developers will figure out a way to root Jellybean 4.1.1, because you can't rollback to ICS once you upgrade.

thanks.
i guess because everyone is complaining about that feature here so they added it.
there's also a new "Power Saver" menu in settings

Yeah, I just tried doing a cold boot and the same thing.

Voodoo shows rooted and still no root.

what is a "cold boot the running SU"?

i rebooted my tablet, now the option "root permission granted" in voodoo is not checked anymore. but it still says "device rooted"
