Hi.

Thank you for posting this solution. I'm sorry for the questions but I am not as experienced and need to confirm a couple of details.

I am currently using FoxFi and have had to put in a password for the lockscreen and now other options are grayed out.

When you talk about going to:

google.com/android/devicemanager and locate your phone.
2. Click "Lock" and chose a new number password.
3. Type the new password on your phone and it will unlock.
4. Now it should let your change the lockscreen to anything, and foxfi will continue to work

When clicking lock and setting up new number password, I assume this is the original number code I put in when first setting up my S5?

Then when I go to my phone, won't I get the lockscreen asking for the password which I had to set up for FoxFi?

Where do I need to type in the new password? (is this the new number password?)

Thank you for your help!

Appreciated.
When I try I get a message that pops up that says 'since it is determined you already have a lock screen set no password will be required and no changes made' (paraphrase).
