Stuck at Yellow Sprint screen

Ok so I followed the instructions to root without an issue, then I began the instrcutions for the native Hot Spot replacing the 2 services files in the System\framework folder and now I am stuck at a Yellow Sprint screen. Any help or ideas. Thank you

So I unrooted the phone, updated then rooted the phone again. The super user app is missing and I cannot verify the phone is rooted what can I do or what did I do wrong here???

Anyone? I decided to root my phone...i really wanted to have access to all my apps in multi window view. But i just rooted. No custom recovery or rom. Will i still be able to install sprint/samsung/android updates?

I can say this with absolute UN-certainty, no you will not, at least not without unrooting first. So, that said, yes you can, however not in the state the ROM would be in.

Again, I am not sure on that.

Tried this technique after being fully updated, 10 minutes after buying. No go. If can't get this phone rooted with a decent custom room, probably just get rid of it; thoroughly disappointed.

All working now, realized downloaded the wrong file(s). Now time to flash a better rom and get rid of this junk stock samsung one.

Need Root from OSX

I just got my S4 just let go of a Nexus S 4G that was rooted within the first few days of owning it. I would like to do the same with my S4 and I would like to do it on my Mac. I can't find any tutorials on how to do this, can anyone help?

picked my S4 up from Best Buy Friday afternoon, after some pool time with the fam afterwards, I had the phone rooted and Blu Kuban installed the same night! great work on the how to as always QBKing77 btw, those having issues rooting MF9 devices, keep trying, I had no issues rooting my MF9 device

yes, they updated my phone at Best Buy the day I bought it, I rooted it using this thread the same night

oh ok cuz i was trying to root it but no luck, it will start root and is stuck on img and its not going nowhere and i was waiting for 10 mins

I just updated to mf9 and I tried this root method but it failed on odin.

if you go from stock MF9 to rooted using this method will it be a hybrid mf9 (kernals/radios/etc) with MDL rom, or will it be a full MF9 just rooted?

edit*** nevermind i went for it, anyone having any doubts or problems this is what i recommend if you are already rooted or having problems:

1. reverted back to FULLY stock unrooted MDL by doing this (go through step 5 until you are back at official fully stock MDL): http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=44027923&postcount=1527

2. then once i was fully stock i signed into my profiles and let it auto update to MF9

3. then rooted with this method

4. ****profit




again this worked for me and should work for you too just follow the steps carefully, none of this is my original work all thanks should go to the creators i am not responsible for anything that you do to your phone
