S8 is listed under compatible devices on voda website. Should work (the csc was extracted from latest Stock rom).
No guarantees though.

Odin and adb knowledge required (Don't bother if you can't use Odin or adb)

That zip can't be flashed via odin
If you can,t use adb sideload, store it on microsd or internal storage after booting into OS.. then boot to recovery and choose apply update from storage. (Not tested that method though)

Better boot once.. no need to setup though.
If force closing.. flash AP file only via odin.

i flashed i got force closes flashed clean then it worked but i got some btc csc again flashed got blank no csc just //Xac then again adb got xeu. i dont get ins in software info


all this proces was done with jio sim inserted my is s8 i tired both ur zip s8+ and s8 same results

Another guy kept getting DBT
If you get one of these CSC, that means csc is changed in the phone.

Now phone will have OXM Multi-CSC, which include the following CSC's:
ACR AFG AFR ARO ATO AUT BGL BNG BRI BTC BTU CAC CAM CEL CHO COO DBT DKR ECT EGY EON ETL EUR GLB ILO INS ITV KSA LAO LUX LYS MID MM1 MWD MYM NEE NPL ORX PAK PCL PHE PHN PTR ROM SEB SEE SEK SER SIN SKZ SLK SMA STH THL THR TMC TPA TPH TTT TUN TUR WTL XEF XEH XEO XEU XFA XFE XME XSG XSP XTC XXV ZTO

So, relevant CSC should kick in solely based on SIM.
Not sure why INS is active for you guys.
If you want you may check phone info app.. it should list all CSC stored in phone.

Please share "sec_omc" file for S8+ "TMB CRE9".

I was not able to downgrade to "CRE2" because of Bootloader version issues.

As long as it's snapdragon s8+ from usa. Back up your data first.

It complains about missing /sideload/package.zip (status 7). Please find attachment for the error.
(There was no sdcard in the phone)

If you look at the first post attachments.. you'll know that's the expected output. Check if you have any force closes on reboot.. also read first post well to see expected issues and possible remedies.

1. In the end, I was getting "Installation aborted".
2. But still I rebooted and phone couldn't turn on VoLTE.
3. CSC code is still XAA/XAA/ATT in "Software Information"
4. In phone info app, the available CSC list was empty.

Did you try after a fresh install or factory reset?
By the way, based on 3rd code in CSC line, your phone is ATT, not tmobile.

I tried both factory reset and fresh install. But still it doesn't work.

Yes, it is a Snapdragon S8+ from USA. Back up through Smart switch is suffice isn’t it?

Flashed this on clean/firmware reinstalled + shared OMC. Getting crashes. Please suggest possible fix. Thanks.
