I would say that battery life of my S21FE is better that I expected and better than many reviews claimed. Apart of Adaptive Battery tick and Dark mode, I haven't done any optimizations, didn't switch off a thing, screen runs at 120Hz and I don't charge the phone every day at moderate use. I can't complain about the battery at all.

Battery is good if you use the phone. I would say that standby battery usage is bad... i think that snap 888 is inefficient for stanby time...
Maybe you have too many apps running in the background ?
Take a look on here to optimize your phone ;)

I did optimize it. Almost all apps on deep sleep. ran de adb debloat. Running battery saving mode and 60hz.
I had Galaxy A8 (2018) before. With optimization and low use i could get up to 5 days even a week without charge. This phone i couldn't get past 3...
And it had smaller battery, yes i know a smaller screen too. But if i compare over night usage (airplane mode and battery saving mode on both) i lost 2-3% on A8 and 5-7% on S21 FE. That is why i put it down to the processor efficiency.

You can't compare a midrange device to a flagship one.
S21 FE have better and larger display, it has way more processing power, better cameras etc.

There's no deep sleep on this phone. If you're not using it at all during the night, it will drain 1% every hour. That's just awful comparing to huawei mate 30 pro and poco f3. Bottom line, battery life on this device is nothing to brag about. That's one single worst thing about this phone, maybe they should have put snapdragon 870 in this device.

Something isn't right with yours. I went to sleep at 1:30 last night with the phone at 85%. It's now 10 am, and I've been awake 1 hour and on the phone since. 80% battery left. No power savings and enhanced processing is on.

Enhanced processing was off, now I've turned it on. Doesn't make any sense but I will try it. I don't turn my data or wifi ever, I really don't know what I'm doing wrong. Compared to poco f3 when in deep sleep overnight, 8hrs the phone only lost 1%, that's what I'm comparing it to.

You have a lot of apps running in the background compared to me. Xiaomi software has more agressive app shutdown/sleep rules by default.

i get easily 6-7h SOT with this great phone .. 4G on all the time, i don't play games on my phone and i always use 120hz
Me too. I don't use any optimizations and also don't play games. 120Hz with dark mode.

Most of the time at home via wifi :

I've had the S21 FE since release, I have the exynos variant.

My SoT just about doubled after a couple weeks after it learned my usage habits.

Yesterday I rooted and then used the optimization guide to debloat.

At this moment it's still learning my usage habits but I'd say it's doing well, battery isn't great but it's not bad either.

I'm a heavy gamer and I can get about 6h of playing done before this thing hits 20%.

It will improve after a couple days of usage.

I've got battery saver on, 60hz refresh and extreme debloat, no root tweaks apart from feradroid and superfreezz since greenify makes my ui freeze since rooting.

I'll report back in a few days to share my results of usage after my habits have been learned again.

sounds nice....did you know that it is possible to debloat without rooting ;-) If you need a tip pm me .

Edit: Okay thank you, I have found that option :)

How to use bixby routines to switch b/w 60 and 120Hz. I couldn't find any such option.

Can u plz share screenshot or tell the option?
You set your default refresh rate to 120Hz
Then you set up your application routine where you put in all the aps and set them to 60hz
With the exception of those you want to still run on 120Hz ofcourse

That is how i have it setup

Are u using 120Hz refresh rate?

I am using bixby routines to switch between 120 and 60hz. Mainly the UI is 120hz and apps that don't cross 60fps like streaming services or some games are just set to 60hz.

I probably could get 9 hours, but I am using battery saving mode and limiting cpu usgae to 70%. It still is really fast. To preserve the battery I limit it to 85% and from 85% to 35% it last about 4.5 hours. Meanwhile I have GPS and Bluetooth on all the time. One pro tip if one wants still smooth experience with the 60Hz change the animation scale in the developer settings to 0.5.
