How's this phone touch screen response time?

Hi, I've just bought a Xiaomi Mi A1, and I've been completely dissatisfied by its mediocre touch screen response time.
Even tough it's a quick enough phone for my needs, it feels quite a bit slower than my "old" N5.
Typing is worse (if you type quick enough, you'll start "skipping" some letters), and scrolling/swiping is frustrating.
The screen doesn't keep up with your finger.
Unfortunately it seems like a lot of people (and reviewers too!) don't notice it, so they don't talk about it.
I've reached the conclusion that cheap devices manufacturers sometimes decide to save on things that users don't talk about (i.e digitizers) so that they can give you the latest Snapdragon, or more RAM (which always get mentioned in reviews).
I say this because I had the exact same experience with an Oppo find 5.
So, I'm sending it back to replace it with a Moto G5S plus.
How's you guys' experience so far?
Do you notice any significant delay?

To make things clear, I'm talking about this:

TD; DR : the xiaomi mi a1 is a good phone, but it has a bad touch screen response time (watch the video for clarification).
How about the Moto G5S plus?

I know what you mean. The screen response on the Moto G5S Plus is normal. I've never had any problems with this phone. It's the best I've ever had.
