If you used the S21 Ultra as primary driver and then upgraded to the S22 Ultra, how's your experience with the S22 Ultra purely in terms of batterylife? Do share your thoughts. Thank you.

Update to fix standby drain is a possibility. But what about battery drain when using?Coming from a note 20 ultra. It has been worse. Battery drain while not using phone is ridiculous. Snapdragon 512gb. Hope a firmware fix is on its way.
Keeping in 60Hz you used to get similar endurance with the S21U? If I'm not mistaken you got rid of S21U shortly after buying? This is my usage.....60 hz refresh rate...insta..WhatsApp...browsing...and 3 Google's accounts and one outlook in sync. I would say it's the same as s21. No real increase in battery life.

With such a huge difference, probably the usage pattern wasn't similar at all with the S21U or it was configured differently in settings or battery in the S21U depleted a lot I would say. With my day to day use I could get 24 hours max on a charge with about 4 hours sot. With s22u I get with the same usage patterns at least 36 hours on a charge with 6 hours sot..
Could you use the phone only over 4G (No Wi-Fi) for a day and update the SOT and total runtime screenshot here (on 100 to 1% drain)? Thanks.Actually the usage and setup was basically the same....for some reason my battery life was mediocre on the s21u....there were days when I got better battery life, but that didn't happen that often
Yeah cloud storage is certainly working well for the Samsung hackersI use Onedrive cloud storage and it has almost zero impact on my S22u battery life. My S22u is an absolute beast getting over 10hrs SOT and lightning fast. At home, I can xfer gigabytes of data in minutes on my network that is 500up/500down. I'm connected to my home wifi6 network wirh my S22u at anywhere from 1.2-2.4gbps depending on how close I'm to my router. Off my home network I get excellent mobile data transfer rates thanks to 5G (which does not cause a big hit on my battery life with T-Mobile in the DFW area). I have almost 500gig on Onedrive.
I've had many of the old Notes with an SD card slot which I kept my life saved on. No more as with todays cloud storage solutions, my exposure is much less and my life is much easier. Embracing the new cloud technologies, wifi6 and 5G has been a much better path for me. Hence, I can certainly understand why Samsung did away with the the SD card slot.
