[HOWTO] debrand your Legend ;) (Firmware europe WWE_1.23.405.1 + update 1.31.405.4)

This is the release rom of the europe Legend.
When you have got a goldcard, you can use this rom to debrand your phone.

Debranding tutorial:
when you want to debrand your phone go to:

theunlockr.com/2010/03/10/how-to-create-a-goldcard/

and make a goldcard with this tutorial.

You must use
adb shell cat /sys/class/mmc_host/mmc0/mmc0:*/cid
instead of:
adb shell cat /sys/class/mmc_host/mmc1/mmc1:*/cid

after you have done this, download the firmware below and install it.
Now you have a Legend without branding ;-)

Now you can check for updates, and you will get the official OTA updates from HTC.

Thanks for this! I was able to debrand my Legend with this (and a goldcard) and after that it got the OTA

Why not use more locale from market it contains most locales and languages

140 update Error

hey, everything went "well" until the update when i got "Errror 140 : Bootload error".
I mean went well because every step of the goldcard were done succesfully.
If anyone can help me.

i think your version of rom is higher then generic 1.23.405 check this

SO if you have a newer version you have to wait untill there is full root acces?

As for this mod, it will just give me all the default stuff, official and all and no chance of problems if I want to update or anything?
