Used the exe and rooted like a charm. Nothing seemed to format, either. Took about 1 minute.

sublime, if you use the EXE all you have to do is set your phone to USB Debugging mode and then run the exe. It handles everything else.

I already have the gingerbreak root working. It just didn't seem to enable sideloading..

Worked like a charm. Just copy over the apk file to the internal storage card of the phone and run it from there.

When I updated to 1.57 my sideloading was working. I wonder if it was because I was rooted before I updated.

We don't live in a perfect world. There will be some cost to rooting. I wanna give a huge thanks to the dev that made this possible. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!

So now how exactly am I supposed to do anything else? Yay it's rooted, but nothing else will work. I'm talking about installing non-market apps. How am I supposed to do that? SuperOneClick "added" support for GingerBreak, but it still doesn't enable non-market apps.

Ok the apk did nothing but sit there saying that it was doing nothing for about 30 minutes. aroot no longer works for me and neither does gladroot. I have flashed back to .26 twice and gladroot still doesnt work says couldnt chmod psneuter OR it tells me adb server out of date... have no clue what to do
