Howto Edit PhoneCanvas or Dialer that comes with Sense 2.1?

edit the sense 2.1 dialer for rhodium* specifically Tilt 2 if that mattersI have manilla editor but the sense 2.1 filelist does not include any kind of dialer, are the files separate? could anyone guide me as to where these files are, i would like to make a nice clean theme for the dialer that i will post here when finished

You could try and take one of the dialer cabs from NRG's addons section or one of the DUSK Roms and decompile the cab, swap around pics, then recompile the cab. Just search for a cab editor. They are all over the place and are easy to figure out, hell, that's how I got started in the 1st place writing apps.

Give that a shot.

Thanks i got resource tuner and WinCE CAB Manager and i modified the files, however on installation of the .cab on my phone it says unsigned app can't install what should i do?

I assume you have unlocked your phone, right?

yup, it is. someone says i have to sign the cab? idk, doesn't sound right. i simply modified a dialer cab that works with some different images.

you have to unsign the .dll files and then resign them after you edit them, otherwise when you make it into a cab, it won't install. I already went through this issue when editing the Devotion dialer in my sig.

That's where I was going next with this, brother. Good job on the help with this. Glad to see people tossing out advice with no smart ass remarks.
