HSPA should be more than enough for most users. If you're used to cricket 3G, your be more than satisfied with the HSPA speeds. Coverage...may be a different story. I'm personally not on the cricket network.

There are different frequncies that the sprint gs4 does not support. Yes you will have 4g aka HSPA+ that is throttled at 4 MBps.

I'm currently using my sprint gs4 on cricket.
So If your currently on cricket w/ a Sprint 4s, May I ask what your APN settings are? Would you mind posting a screen shot? Also, Are you using a custom rom, If so what? Ive been thinking about trying out the Stockish-V06, But I wanna get my APN settings straightened out first, before I flash the ROM, And The modem back to MK2...

Also I added ril.sales_code=LOL
ro.csc.sales_code=LOL to the very bottom of the build.prop, Bc its never pointed out were to add these lines in the build.prop, just that they needed to be added, So did I not have to do this, Or did I add them in the wrong spot? Im currently deleting them....

---------- Post added at 11:30 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:25 PM ----------

I dont know what happen, But when I was hitting add for apn Then save exit, they werent sticking, So I added ril.sales_code=LOL
ro.csc.sales_code=LOL to build.prop, And now my "DIALER CODES" Arent working

Still on MDC Modem and TW is the 4.3 MK2 Build, Now that I deleted the lines I put in the build.Prop I can access dialer codes again. But, the Apn field is still blank and not saving, So am I supposed to add those lines or Not, And if I am where do I actually ad them, between what lines

Very strange, after entering the info you provided https://www.cricketwireless.com/supp...n-android.html then saving, it stuck. And I was then able to select the dot.Just rebooted. And testing now...I now have the H+ "Yayyy" MMS and WEB ate Good to go, Thanx a million. I would've eventually figured it out, "EVENTUALLY" But you saved me hours I believe Thanx again, I take it I can now flash the MK2 modem back, or is it ok to stau on MDC, Because Im now gonna flash the Stockishv06 rom?

I don't know about that build, I did the unlocked with the TW NG2 version. I do remember it was very slow to use the dial pad, I had to try several times to dial the codes. If you do everything exactly like in the guide you should be able to get it right. The build prop lines can be added anywhere. It doesn't matter. When you reboot the phone go to Settings, more networks, mobile networks, network mode and select WCDMA only to save on battery, WCDMA /GSM auto works as well . I would also recommend flashing back the old modem since a lot of things break for downgrading the modem, maybe that's why you can't save apn settings.

Basically what I did was, downgrade modem, did the international unlock , domestic unlock, revert back the new modem, rooted the ROM, added the build prop lines, added the APN settings, rebooted, selected WCDMA only, rebooted, went to the cricket store and got me a SIM card.

You can flash back to just your modern, and flash any ROM. If you flash a stock ROM, don't forget to add the lines to the build prop.

Wait a MINUTE, Now im confused. Bc I added those lines, But then the Dialer codes werent working anymore, So I deleted the lines I added, and the dialer codes worked again on the first shot, So It led me to believe the codes werent working bc of those added lines to the BuildProp. And what is NG2, I thought the latest was NAE. Is NG2 newer the NAE or is it a custom build. Forgive me, I stuck with MK2 and was happy with how my S4 was, so I may not be up2date with the latest Builds

NG2 is the newest, the lines help basically to have all the options in network mode, if they are showing for you without lines, then you don't need the lines. You could update to the newest tw build, but you may have to repeat the unlock I think.

I'm using also Google voice lite and hangouts with my cricket number. I have everything in the hangouts app, didn't like cricket voicemail app.

Ill have to check the new TW build out, Besides that everything is in order on my side, as long as Voice,Txt,Mms,and Data work, I think Im gonna leave it, But it does make me curious though, Im gonna add the lines to the Prop onemore time and see if it disables my dialer codes again, If it doesnt then I dont know what did, But for now, I gotta hit the Hay, Long day tomorrow. Thanx a lot, you have been a Gr8 Help. I really appreciate all you have answered for me. Drop back by tomorrow.

Yeah, I just added the buildprop lines again and it disables my ability to enter dialer codes. Maybe its bc I originally went into efs/carrier/hiddenmenu and changed the file from Off to On, Who knows why the lines are doing it, but It does disable my dialer codes,

If you can access the network modes you need, you don't really need the lines. I only needed the dialing codes for the unlock.

Repeating the unlock after a update isn't necessary. Even with using Odin. The nv items (where the lock is contained) are only wiped when you manually erase them through ADB shell, when you do a RTN or SCRTN, or when the modem decides to kick the bucket.

Followed this guide exactly to the letter for 4 different customers L720's, NONE of them have been able to get H+ with T-Mobile, AT&T, or StraightTalk.... I ALWAYS just have to show them that voice and texts are working, and hope they don't notice the "E" for Edge/2G........ Don't understand what I'm doing wrong since I've done it multiple times taking my time and following each step exactly. When they text me later asking about it I have no choice but to lie and say the Sprint phone isn't capable of using the other 3g/wcdma bands..... :\

Selecting WCDMA All results in no bars and a red x
When I change to GSM All and reboot, there's instantly service............ 2G
Even told one person E meant Excellent :D

Then again, shops charge $70 to do it here, and I've hooked them up for $25

Did you check their coverage? If they have H+ coverage then you missed something, did you use the correct APN settings? Did you flash back the correct modem? Sometimes keeping MDC installed break a lot things, like my WiFi and sound didn't work while I was doing the unlock.

Yes checked the APN settings for the AT&T and T-Mobile sims, not the straighttalk one. MDC didn't break sound or wifi (didn't touch NON-HLOS.bin which would be responsible for this), but from reading the posts in this thread not everybody is flashing back the updated modems. Having trouble believing I missed something, these phones were all a month apart, I took my time following each step doing exactly what it said...
Most I can get out of them is 2G Edge :(

Soon as I change from WCDMA_ALL to GSM_ALL it works...

Easy answer. T-Mobile hasn't enabled 1900 MHz HSPA+ in your area, so 1900 still belongs to Edge. It'll be that way until they update

I've unlocked multiple other AT&T phones to work with T-Mobile and H+ works just fine in the area, haven't tested specific bands.... doesn't seem to matter what carrier they want to use, WCDMA_ALL gives the no bars and red x
